Keep the purchase row

Record seller, SKU, color, fiber, package length or cut dimensions, price and date. A generic cotton description is insufficient when the project needs a specific family or fabric count.

Compare the delivery

Check the actual material and included components against the selected offer. If a label or width differs, ask the seller before cutting or removing information needed for a return.

No receipt invented

We have not ordered, measured, stitched or washed the compared products. This is a receiving workflow, not an actual delivery review or an independent material-authenticity test.

Check quantity without inventing a test

On arrival, compare the received label and ordered selling unit. For fabric, check the delivered cut dimensions and note whether the seller includes selvage in width. An observation of the package is not a stitching or washing trial. Ask the seller promptly about a discrepancy instead of assuming a larger usable area.

Inspect before an irreversible step

Compare the invoice and selected listing with the received package while labels are still attached. For fabric, note the overall cut dimensions separately from any confirmed usable width. For thread, note family, color and declared package amount. If something differs, preserve the packaging and ask the seller about the discrepancy before cutting or processing it.

Document the specific discrepancy

A useful correction request names the order, SKU, expected field, received label and date. A width issue should state whether you measured overall width or excluded selvages. A kit issue should name the component explicitly listed but absent. We cannot infer a seller return policy or promise a replacement; check the actual seller conditions for that purchase.

Keep observation and testing separate

Checking a label or a delivered rectangle does not establish fiber authenticity, dye fastness, shrinkage or long-term durability. Those would need different evidence. This reference supplies a receiving checklist and public product observations only. It contains no real delivery experience, unboxing result or performance score for the three listed materials.

Before you decide

  • Keep family, color/SKU and actual quantity
  • Separate nominal, usable and assumed measurements
  • Read component care and current seller conditions
